About EndoGrup - Global Endoscope Repair Training Provider

About us

EndoGrup is an Istanbul-based endoscope repair training academy and technical service center. Since 2008 we have trained technicians, biomedical engineers and career changers from more than 50 countries, and we serve hospitals, clinics and technical service businesses worldwide.

Founder and director

EndoGrup was founded in 2008 by İbrahim Çetinkaya, who has led the company since. He graduated from the Biomedical department of Marmara University in Istanbul in 1996 and began his career in the sales and technical service of flexible and rigid endoscopy equipment, working on instruments made by Olympus, Pentax and Fujinon. From 2002 to 2007 he founded and ran the exclusive Richard Wolf distributorship in Turkey. Today he leads the sales, technical service and training work at EndoGrup, and he works across every brand and model of endoscopy equipment, including Karl Storz, Stryker, Olympus and Fujinon. The courses are taught by the company's trainers, and he takes part in them himself as well.

The training academy

Our courses are hands-on and normally take place at our own training center in Istanbul. We take a maximum of 3 participants per course or group, so every student works at the bench on real endoscopes. The curriculum is taught in English, no prior medical or technical background is required, and course dates are arranged together with the student.

A certificate is awarded on successful completion, and support after the course is unlimited and free of charge: you can ask us as many questions as you need over WhatsApp or on a video call, and there is no question limit and no extra fee.

Students travel to us from all over the world. If you need a visa to attend a course, we issue an invitation letter for your application and we support you through the process. We serve customers globally and can also arrange training at your location.

Technical service and repair

Our workshop repairs rigid endoscopes, nephroscopes, semi-rigid ureteroscopes (URS), cystoscopes, laparoscopes, laryngoscopes, arthroscopes and flexible endoscopes: rod lens replacement, optical system repair, fiber optic and light guide repair, body tube repair and leak testing. We are brand-independent by design and compatible with all brands and models, and all repairs come with a 90-day warranty.

We also supply spare parts, both genuine and compatible, and we supply equipment and light sources, both new and refurbished. We keep xenon lamps in stock, including Philips and Perkin Elmer, so that a replacement is ready when the lamp in a light source fails.

Our sales staff know the products and know how they are used, so the advice we give is well informed. We can tell you which instrument is right for the work, which spare parts we can supply for it and what service we can provide, and whether it is better to refurbish an instrument you already own than to replace it.

Industrial and aviation inspection

Endoscopes are not used in medicine alone. We also inspect aircraft engines and turbines, and we inspect pipelines to find leaks and corrosion. We supply the video borescopes, rigid borescopes and flexible inspection systems used in seven industrial fields: automotive, aviation, energy and mining, petrochemical, welding and casting, construction, and gun barrel inspection.

Endoscopes are used in veterinary practice too, with small animals, horses and livestock, and we supply and repair the equipment for that work.

Quality standards and certificates

We follow strict international quality standards for all our training and technical services, and the company holds the corresponding certificates. We do not publish the documents on this page: we provide our certificates at the client's request. Our certificates page sets out the certification pathway, and you are welcome to ask us for any document you need for your own procurement or accreditation process.

If you are not sure whether a course, a repair or a spare part is the right answer for what is on your bench, write to us and tell us about the instrument and the fault. We will tell you what we can do.
