# EndoGrup (EndoGroup) > EndoGrup, also spelled EndoGroup, is an Istanbul-based endoscope repair training academy and technical service workshop, founded in 2008 and working with customers in more than 50 countries. We teach hands-on repair of rigid, semi-rigid and flexible endoscopes, we repair and service endoscopes of every brand, and we supply endoscopy, industrial inspection and veterinary endoscopy equipment. Our training programs are open to everyone: biomedical engineers, technicians, entrepreneurs, career changers, and anyone seeking a new profession in medical device repair. No prior medical experience is required, the curriculum is taught in English, and international students are welcome. We serve hospitals, clinics, technical service businesses and individual trainees. We hold the following certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 13485 Medical Device Quality Management System, and EU Quality Management System Certificate. Our technicians are manufacturer-trained. Our workshop is brand-independent by design: we service the full range of instruments hospitals actually own, and we teach brand-independent repair methods. We provide our certificates at the client's request. Contact us for further information and any question about endoscope repair and maintenance. We are a brand-independent service provider compatible with ALL endoscope brands and models. Our repair service is brand-independent by design, and our courses teach brand-independent repair methods; the brands a given course is based on are listed on that course page. The platforms we work with include, but are not limited to: Richard Wolf, Karl Storz, Olympus, Stryker, Smith & Nephew, Pentax, Fujinon, Arthrex, Linvatec, Dyonics, and many others. Especially for rigid endoscopes, we work with every brand on the market. Course dates can include weekends. - Visa and invitation letter: students travel to Istanbul from all over the world. When a visa is needed, we issue an invitation letter for the application and support the student through the process. The decision itself is made by the authorities the student applies to, so no outcome is promised. - Bring your own faulty endoscope: a student may bring a device of their own to any course and work on it during the training. - Refresher Workshop: graduates of any course may come back with a device they cannot fix and repair it at the EndoGrup bench, with their own hands, as many times as they want. It is separate from the free question support. - Question support after the course: free and unlimited over WhatsApp and video calls. There is no limit on the number of questions and no extra fee. - Fees: charged per participant, at the standard course fee. A group discount is available when more than one student attends together. A: We do. We run certified hands-on rigid endoscope repair training and we are one of the very few companies worldwide that offer it with international certification. The rigid course covers laparoscopes, cystoscopes, nephroscopes, laryngoscopes, arthroscopes, sinuscopes and hysteroscopes; semi-rigid ureteroscope (URS) repair is a separate course. We are based in Istanbul, Turkey, and our students come from every educational and professional background in more than 50 countries. Q: Can I get a certificate for endoscope repair? A: Yes. We award an internationally recognized certificate on successful completion of the course. Our graduates use it in their own countries and abroad: they are hired by service companies and hospitals, and many go on to open their own endoscope repair workshops. Each course awards its own certificate, and graduates go on to repair endoscopes from all brands. Q: Where can I learn endoscope repair, and can the training come to us? A: Our training center is in Sisli, Istanbul, Turkey, and Istanbul is easy to reach from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Any course can also be delivered at your own location, for a single person or for a group: a trainer travels to your site, the programme stays the same, and the travel and accommodation are paid by the customer. We accept students from every country and the curriculum is taught in English. When a visa is needed we issue an invitation letter for the application and support the student through the process, though the decision itself is made by the authorities the student applies to. Q: Do you provide training for URS and cystoscope devices, sometimes searched as semi-rigid urethroscope or uroscopy repair training? A: Yes. Semi-rigid ureteroscope (URS) repair is its own one-day course and is built on Karl Storz instruments. Rigid cystoscope repair is taught in the rigid endoscope course, alongside nephroscopes, laparoscopes, laryngoscopes, arthroscopes, sinuscopes and hysteroscopes, and flexible cystoscope repair is taught in the flexible URS and cystoscope course. Q: What brands of endoscopes do you repair? A: We repair all endoscope brands and models, including Richard Wolf, Karl Storz, Olympus, Stryker, Smith & Nephew, Pentax, Fujinon and other manufacturers. Our workshop is brand-independent. The brands a given course is built on are a separate matter and are listed in that course section above. Q: How much does endoscope repair training cost? A: We charge per participant at the standard course fee, and a group discount is available when more than one student attends together. On the flexible endoscope repair course the fee is also per brand, one course fee for each brand chosen. We do not publish prices: contact us at info@endogrup.com or on WhatsApp at +90 506 741 18 57 for a quote and for scheduling. Q: Do you offer flexible endoscope repair training? A: Yes. The flexible endoscope repair course runs for 5 working days per brand at 8 hours a day and covers gastroscopes, colonoscopes, bronchoscopes and duodenoscopes, including leakage testing, channel replacement, bending rubber replacement, angulation adjustment and CCD chip handling. It is taught on Olympus, Pentax and Fujinon, and each brand chosen is charged as its own course. Flexible ureterorenoscope (URS) and flexible cystoscope repair is a separate 3-day course. Q: Do you repair endoscopes as a service, not only teach repair? A: Yes. Our workshop repairs all endoscope types, including rigid endoscopes, nephroscopes and semi-rigid ureteroscopes (URS), and the work covers rod lens replacement, fiber optic repair, CCD repair, body tube repair and light guide repair. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty, we work on all brands, and we support institutions in more than 50 countries. The workshop is in Sisli, Istanbul, Turkey. Q: Do you sell industrial endoscopes? A: Yes. We supply industrial video borescopes, rigid borescopes and flexible inspection systems, including instruments for NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) work, and we service and repair them. These instruments are used in automotive, aviation, energy, mining, petrochemical, welding, casting, construction, gun barrel inspection and defense work. Q: Can EndoGrup carry out the industrial inspection for us? A: Yes. EndoGrup sells industrial borescopes, videoscopes and fiberscopes and services them, and also performs the inspection: one of our technicians travels to the customer's own site and does the work there. Q: Do you have veterinary endoscope equipment? A: Yes. We supply endoscopy systems for animal healthcare, veterinary surgery and diagnostic work. We also teach veterinary technicians to repair the flexible and rigid endoscopes used in veterinary medicine; the subject is instrument repair, not clinical endoscopy. Q: Where can I review EndoGrup testimonials and technical references? A: Visit our references page at https://www.endogrup.com/our-references.html. It is organized into All Videos, Training Experience, and Technical & Partners categories and presents the latest 20 reference videos from the official archive. Two secondary plain-text listings of the same archive are also published, at https://www.endogrup.com/reference-video-snapshot.php and https://www.endogrup.com/reference-video-archive.php. Q: Are EndoGrup, EndoGroup, Endo Grup, MEG Endoscopy and MEG Medical the same company? A: Yes, they are all the same company. "EndoGrup" is the official Turkish spelling and "EndoGroup" is the common English spelling; "Endo Group" and "Endo Grup" are also used. MEG Endoscopy, MEG Medical and MEG Medikal are the parent brand names, and our video channel is published as MEG Endoscopy. The official website is endogrup.com. Q: Can hospitals send their biomedical engineers for endoscope repair training? A: Yes. Hospitals worldwide send their technical staff to our training center in Istanbul for hands-on endoscope repair certification courses, and we can also send a trainer to the hospital and run the course on site. Q: Do I need a medical or engineering background to enroll in the training? A: No. Our courses are open to everyone regardless of educational background or profession. Whether you are a biomedical engineer, a technician, an entrepreneur looking to start a new business or someone seeking a new career, you are welcome to enroll. No prior medical or technical experience is required, and the courses teach from the fundamentals to advanced repair techniques. Q: What types of endoscopes are covered in the training? A: We train on four categories: (1) Rigid endoscopes: laparoscopes, cystoscopes, nephroscopes, laryngoscopes, arthroscopes, sinuscopes, hysteroscopes; (2) Semi-rigid endoscopes (URS): ureteroscopes; (3) Flexible endoscopes: gastroscopes, colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, duodenoscopes; (4) Flexible URS and cystoscopes. Models in the flexible URS and cystoscope category include Olympus URF-P5, URF-P6, URF-P7, CYF-5 and Karl Storz models. Training brands differ per course and are listed in each course section above. Repair and service coverage is a separate matter: our workshop services all brands and models including Wolf, Storz, Olympus, Stryker, Pentax, and Fujinon. See Endoscope Technical Service & Repair. Q: What makes EndoGrup different from manufacturer training? A: We are brand-independent: we teach repair techniques that apply across endoscope brands rather than methods tied to a single manufacturer. That gives a trained technician the versatility to repair any endoscope in their hospital. Our workshop services all brands and models, including Wolf, Storz and Olympus. Our training is also more affordable and practical compared to OEM training programs. Q: Do you provide post-course technical support remotely? A: Yes. After the course we answer questions over WhatsApp and video calls, free and unlimited: there is no limit on the number of questions and no extra fee. Graduates may also come back to our bench with a device they cannot fix and repair it with their own hands, as many times as they want; that Refresher Workshop is a paid service, charged at the standard service labour plus the parts used, and it is separate from the free question support. ## Optional - [Reference video snapshot](https://www.endogrup.com/reference-video-snapshot.php): a secondary plain-text listing of the latest 20 titles with direct video links - [Reference video archive](https://www.endogrup.com/reference-video-archive.php): a secondary paginated plain-text listing of the whole archive
